Besides outstanding dental care, Dr. Northen is passionate about three primary things: great customer service, outdoor activities, and his family. Dr. Northen is a certifiable fanatic about great customer service. As a consumer Dr. Northen expects top-notch service and richly rewards those who provide it. In his practice, Dr. Northen strives to provide that same outstanding customer service to his patients. Let us show you how great our service is. Dr. Northen is an avid outdoorsman. He recently completed summiting ALL 54 of Colorado's Rocky Mountain peaks of 14,000 feet or more! Besides climbing "14ers", Dr. Northen loves hiking, bicycling, rock climbing, bird watching and anything else he can do outdoors. In fact, Dr. Northen even proposed to his wife, Nancy, while hanging from climbing ropes on the face of a rock cliff above Boulder, CO.

Speaking of Nancy, that's another of Dr. Northen's passions. He and Nancy are members of Timberline Church in Fort Collins. They have traveled all around the world, including dental mission trips to Africa, Peru, Vietnam, and Guatemala to name a few. Dr. Northen has two grown children; Kobey is a Homebuilder in Northern Colorado, and Chase has recently moved back to Colorado from Florida and is working in Fort Collins. "Papa Roger" and "Oma Nancy" are also the proud grandparents to Madison, Kade, Reese, and Brienna, the apples of their eyes.

Dr. Galen Geraets grew up in Fort Collins where he graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. degree in microbiology in 1998 and M.S. in anatomy in 2000. He then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honors in 2005.

Dr. Geraets strives to stay abreast of all the latest dental techniques and products by attending continuing education and numerous memberships. He is a current chapter member of the Delta Sigma Delta International Dental fraternity. Dr. Geraets is also a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Weld County Dental Society.

The patients' health and comfort are Dr. Geraets' primary concern when you first visit him. Everyone who Dr. Geraets sees is treated with respect, dignity and with the highest quality standard of care. Dr. Geraets created a relaxed atmosphere with his sense of humor and ability to help calm patient's fears. Dr. Geraets wants patients educated and active participants in their care. He encourages questions and everybody has options to choose from. Dr.Geraets treats everybody the way he would want himself or his family treated.

Dr.Geraets donates his time to coaching youth soccer in the community, also participates in a competitive soccer league. He and his wife, Mindy have one daughter Samantha and love the outdoors. They spend many days in the mountains skiing, boarding, golfing, hiking, and taking in nature's beauty. Dr Geraets is also an avid Rams fan and can he found at CSU football games.

She has been with our team since 1989 and has over 20 years experience as a dental assistant. Christy keeps us laughing with her great sense of humor. Christy is a great communicator and is happy to clearly explain any procedure or answer any questions. With all her experience, it's tough to stump Christy with an issue that she can't quickly solve. Dentistry is in Christy's blood. She acquired her passion in dentistry from her mother who was a dental assistant for 30 years. She is married to Tim and they have 2 beautiful daughters, one is a dental hygienist and the other is studying sonography (ultra sound).

Pam has been an important part of the Centre Family Dentistry team since 1988, she brings over 20 years of experience. Pam is an insurance expert and can quickly assist patients with their questions. You'll find Pam to be loyal, helpful, and more patient than anyone you've ever met. She is married to Shawn and they have a beautiful daughter Katelyn. She is passionate about horse training and riding barrel horses. She sometimes even has to lasso Dr. Northen and reign him in!

Joann- or "Jo" as we know her- has over 18 years of dental assisting experience. She's been part of the Centre Family Dentistry team since 1994. Jo is involved with direct patient care and excellence is her middle name. Jo has solved all sort of dental problems for our patients. She's even fixed a dental problem or two in Dr. Northen's mouth! Jo's organizational skills are legendary and she helps keep our whole office organized. She has been married to Eric since 1993 and has two energetic daughters Kaitlyn and Aimee.

Januari graduated from Laramie County Community College in 2001. She joined our office in 2002 and immediately impressed our staff and patients with her top-notch dental hygiene skills. Januari is passionate about her work. We think you'll find her to be one of the best hygienist in Northern Colorado! Januari is married to Ryan. Besides cleaning her own teeth (she admits to brushing and flossing up 6 times daily!) Januari enjoys working out, going to movies and eating out.

She has over 20 years experience in the dental field and is the 1st member of the Centre Family Dentistry team. In fact, Lois started working for Dr. Northen in 1985. Lois brings her incredible experience and problem-solving skills to make sure that your visit with us is outstanding. We promise great customer service and Lois will make sure we deliver. If you have any troubles during your visit, let Lois know and she'll fix it in a flash. However, if your visit is as outstanding as promised, she would also love to hear from you! Lois loves to travel, garden and read. Lois has two wonderful adult children, Kara and Cory.

Her smiling face and bubbly personality will greet you on the phone and at the front desk. She will help schedule your appointment, and will answer any questions you might have. Maxine is married to Jerry and they have two beautiful, lively daughters. In her spare time she likes to ride horses, hike, fish and camp with her family.

Megan is the newest member of our team. She recently moved here from Pennsylvania. She began working in her father's dental practice nearly 13 years ago. She has 7 years of full-time dental assisting experience, and spent one year teaching dental assisting in a private school in suburban Philadelphia. Megan is married to Matt and you will find them out exploring everything about Colorado.

Amber graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in 2004. She greatly enjoys helping her patients and building relationships with them. Amber and her husband Josh moved to Fort Collins in 2005, and have found a great home here with their two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, working on home improvement projects, and watching movies. We welcome Amber as a part of our team!
